Pay no attention to the Red Seal behind the curtain ... (arf! arf!)

1977 was a happy year for Birmingham's classical music lovers.  Less than a year earlier, WBHM 90.3 debuted, ending a decade-long void caused by the end of classical programming on WSFM 93.7 (when the struggling station was sold and changed to the present-day WDJC and its now 40-year-old Christian music format).
