July 1973
 Some
time during the Summer of 1973, one of the local theater groups put on
this version of "Winnie-the-Pooh" (obviously not sponsored by Sears!)
in the old theater on the UAB campus. We don't know who the
actors were, but at least Piglet had some nice legs!
  This bear looks like he's waiting impatiently for the opening of the Enchanted Forest in November.  But ONLY because she invited me.   But those footballs are awfully hard to kick. 
We apologize for the lousy print quality of this important article, but the July 1973 issues of the paper were badly overexposed when they were originally microfilmed. |
