Good news: Ralphie fled Cleveland and moved to Birmingham, where he could escape all that "pink bunny" nonsense.

Bad news: Ralphie's Aunt Clara lived in Birmingham, and worked at Vaughan-Weil.



I cannot dance to save my life.  But I would gladly take 100 Arthur Murray lessons if I could step into this ad and enjoy a night of big band frolicking.


SEARS SMASHES GAS PRICES!!!



"It's 40 miles back to Jasper.  We have a full tank of (23¢) gas, a skirt and shoes for the missus, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses - which also came from Sears."   "Hit it!"
