At this time, WSGN was found at 1310 on the dial.  It wouldn't move to its more famous location, 610, until the following Spring.



(LEFT) In 1941, a major realignment of radio channels resulted in most stations being forced to change their frequencies.  This move put many of these stations where they are today.  WSGN, as mentioned above, went from 1310 to 610.  WBRC moved three doors down to 960, and WAPI moved first to 1170, and several years later to their present-day 1070 location.
